All About Me and Friendship

Our first week of preschool was so much fun! We really enjoyed our "All About Me" unit. Everyone did such a wonderful job sharing their "Me Bags" with the class. It was great to learn more about each child in our class. The next unit we did was about Friendship. Some of our activities included friendship placemats and chains. For the friendship chains, each child decorated 10 strips. They gave one strip to each friend, and we made a chain for everyone. We have a few pictures below of some of the things we did during the first weeks of school.

Each day, we practice writing our letter of the week. They have been doing such a great job with this!

Music time is one of their favorite things to do. They each have their own music mats to dance and sing on.

During calendar time, we always have lots of helpers!

We played a game called "Letter Splat". We say a letter out loud and they have to be the first to hit the letter with the fly swatter. They love playing this game.

Welome to Wiggle Worm Preschool! We are very excited for the opportunity to get to know you, and looking forward to having a fun and productive school year. Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 11th. Our theme for the first two weeks will be "All About Me". Please bring your child's "Me Bags" that they recieved at open house so that we can learn more about them. We will update this blog weekly with pictures of activities your child will be doing.
